Councilwoman Victoria Seaman was elected in a special election on June 11, 2019, to complete the term for Ward 2, which initially ended in 2021. However, the passage of Assembly Bill 50 during the 80th Nevada Legislature extended it to 2022. She won re-election in the primary of June 2022 for another four years with 55 percent of the vote. Councilwoman Seaman spent one term and two special sessions in the Nevada State Legislature representing Clark County's Assembly District 34. In the Assembly, she was the Southern Majority Whip, Vice Chair of the Commerce and Labor Committee, Judiciary, Chair of the HOA sub-committee and Legislative Operations Committees. She has an associate degree in Political Science from the College of Southern Nevada and a Bachelor of Science in Urban Studies with a minor in Family Studies from the University of Nevada Las Vegas. As an elected official and community leader, Councilwoman Seaman has advocated for issues important to Nevada. She has legislated on lower taxes, fewer government regulations for small business owners, guardianship issues to protect seniors, human rights, and issues related to animal welfare. Her ten years of formal education, training in esthetics, and subsequent 26 years of business experience, strong entrepreneurial spirit, and a keen eye for detail are leadership attributes that have afforded her success in business and politics. She holds real estate and business broker licenses in the State of Nevada. She also created, founded, and owned Day Spas and successfully designed and manufactured high-end bath, body, and skincare product lines. Victoria and her husband, John, have been married for 20 years. They love animals and share their home with five dogs, Pierre, Coco, Jacque, Louie, and Blu Theo (Bully).
