My journey as woman began as an Afghan refugee. As a child I was exposed to many harsh challenges that so many women, in various parts of the world, still face today . Later in life I would relocate to the US and then Europe where I’d discover new opportunities and freedoms, yet still encounter challenges and hurdles unique to women. Working to help empower, support, encourage and uplift all women, locally and Internationally, and to help them find equality and unlock their full potential has always been at the center of my heart.
Our mission is to create supportive, empowering communities to help empower and uplift all women locally and abroad. To help create a world where everyone is treated with respect, kindness and love, regardless of gender, race or religion.
Through local network & community chapters, content and programs we work to make women smile, feel valued, find joy in life and achieve their potential.

Rashida Azizi, an Afghan refugee, mother, cancer survivor, former Mrs. Elegance of Europe, Mrs. Hessen (Germany) and Miss Germany runner-up, is a passionate advocate for women’s empowerment and social change. With a background in community development and a fervent belief in the power of collective action, Rashida has dedicated her life to championing the rights and opportunities of women around the world. Her vision for a more equitable society drives her work, inspiring others to join in the fight for gender equality. Through her leadership, Global Powerful Women has become a beacon of hope, empowering women to realize their full potential and creating a brighter, more inclusive future for generations to come.

Victoria Seaman is an American politician who served as a member of the Las Vegas City Council from the 2nd ward from 2019 to 2025. A Republican, she formerly represented Clark County’s District 34 in the Nevada Assembly from 2014 to 2016, and was the first Republican Latina elected to the body. In 2024, Seaman unsuccessfully ran for mayor of Las Vegas, finishing as the election’s runner-up.
